This air filter has a 5 micron filter element that will remove moisture droplets and debris. The bowl is made of aluminum, and has an easy to turn manual drain valve with an outlet port for optional remote drainage. A water level gauge on the bowl will help you easily monitor the water and debris level so you know when you need to drain it. By collecting excess water, your system will be protected to ensure a longer life span. Four feets of ½" OD Hose, Two 3/8" NPT Male PTC Fittings and Hose Cutter tool are included. A kit put together with the intention of a water trap addition in our 2.5 gallon air tank suspension system (VXT4CM25AA).

Water traps are simple devices that filter both moisture and debris from the air that passes through them. As your compressor runs, condensation is created which then cools and collects in your air tank. Installing a water trap between the compressor and the tank will limit the amount of water that ends up in your air tank while installing a water trap between the tank and the manifold/valves will collect any excess water that makes it through the tank, as well as any debris it picks up along the way, further protecting your investment.
